This is Love Creek, at the northwest end of Rehoboth Bay, as sunset approaches in late September 2004.
This pavilion sits on a point near the end of Massey's Ditch, a boat-friendly connecting route between Rehoboth Bay and Indian River Bay. This was shot in October 2004.
The ride home from work sometimes includes vivid sunsets, as in this picture shot in Kent County north of Frederica. I think the fact that we're east of Washington, D.C. and Baltimore may have something to do with that.
The Rookery Golf Course sits along State Route One, east of Milton. I took this picture in December 2004, just after the first snowfall of the winter. It was about 10 degrees outside, with a wind chill that went into below-zero territory. My fingers nearly froze to the camera.
We have about as many ice storms as we do snowstorms, thanks to being so near the ocean. This isn't such a great deal for some of the ornamental grasses folks like around here, but it's often very pretty.
